Heat coming from under steering wheel/dash

Post by chrishawn416 » Tue Sep 03, 2019 6:31 pm

I have a 2014 Taurus and I’m noticing a lot of heat coming from under the steering wheel and dash when you’re driving. I can feel it coming up and it makes you feel even hotter when it’s hot outside. Everything is turned off heat/air wise and I have it on the coldest temperature setting. My air quit working at the start of summer but I haven’t taken it in to see what’s wrong. So I have the windows down when driving. Anyone else have this issue and if so what is wrong with it?? My fiancé says it’s normal because the engine is hot (not meaning overheating just hot from running).

there is a empty wiring harness plug under the steering wheel half way up the firewall . Check and make sure it is installed ??????? It could be missing or not install right
