Hello I'm new here just got a 2013 interceptor sedan I have an error coming up that is telling me the car is overheating but when you look at the temp its cold and it will say it even when you first start the car for the day so can anyone tell me where the temperature sensor is located
Thanks

coolant temperature sensor location 2013 interceptor
Re: coolant temperature sensor location 2013 interceptor
They've engineered modern cars to require dealership service.......I don't believe there's a traditional coolant sensor. The 3.7 (and 3.5, I imagine) now have Head Temp Sensors that are screwed into the head and live under the intake. It'd be a bit of a job to get at......
*Note: above is from memory, I didn't check the book to verify but I remember thinking "that's as stupid as an internal pump"

yep just talked to a repair shop about it and yes it's on the head so parts will cost me 109.00 and labor will be 255.00 at 85.00 an hr for 3 hrs of work and thanks for the help

3 hours really isn't bad - how many miles does your car have? You should have them replace the spark plugs while they have the intake off.
Oh, FYI, you pull the intake to remove the rear spark plugs!
