New to forum. 13 police interceptor

Post by Moe Q » Tue Jul 10, 2018 5:02 am

Hello guys. Im new to the forum but have owned a 2013 PI for a while now. Have done a lot of work on it. Installed a console from 2012 sel. Got 2 10' JL audio subs in the trunk. Recently installed 55watt HID. Enabled the remote start also. Fixed the rear door locks and windows.

Nice work!

These are definitely items people want to learn more about, may I ask where you sourced and learned all these operations?

Are you keeping it white? which engine?

Thanks

Looks like we are headed down the same path, are you using your factory headunit for the subs? I really want to swap out all speakers and add a sub but not sure how the factory headunit will tie into it all

Yea I'm still using the factory head unit. I've done a lot of research and it turns out there is no alternative for that unless you wana spend a fortune. However, an fm transmitter does my work. I get a small disturbance but if you increase the volume its not noticable.

I just took the input from a wiring harness that contained left and right speaker. Its located with all the police harness that was hiding behind the factory dash. I spliced the amp input wire from one end and connected it to the harness. Its kind of a hack job but works great

Do you remember what color the wires were?
