AC System 1999 Ford Taurus

I am not able to turn the ac condenser cooling fan off. Compressor operates properly and car cools own but the high speed fan stays on in heat mode as well as cooling mode. Any idea what the problem is and where it is located?

That's not just the condenser cooling fan it's also your radiator cooling fan.

You might want to check your coolant levels, engine temps etc. If those are ok there it a temp switch on the engine that can turn it on and off as well as a temp switch on the AC side that usually turns it on when the compressor is running.

Two issues to check out :)

Yep. I would replace the engine coolant temp sensor if the rad fan is running constantly.

I am going to check high speed fan relay and sensor on the engine. I did disconnect pressure control plug. In front of engine and discovered it controlled both fans and compressor so I plugged it back in.
