1991 Mercury Sable TOO COLD

Post by moser42 » Wed Jan 23, 2013 7:03 pm

I am driving my grandpa's old Sable GS Wagon, 1991. 3.0L V6 with 100,000 KM's on it.
We are in a cold snap, and I cannot find the plug in for the block heater. I already missed a day of work and cannot miss another so please help me out in tracing out the plug-in so the motor will start tomorrow morning. I tried boosting it this morning and it just turned over and over, kicking and sputtering but never starting. When it is warmer, the car starts fine. Battery is good.

How can I trace down the plug in? Where is the block heater itself located?

THANKS!
