We have updated our reliability stats for the Five Hundred (on our redesigned site) to include owner experiences through December 31, 2011.

Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2007: 44, better than average

2006: 61, better than average

2005: 76, about average

We have two additional statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds," to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop.

These stats:

2007: 71, < 1

2006: 51, 3

2005: 45, 4

We have updated our reliability stats for the Five Hundred to include owner experiences through September 30, 2012.

Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:

2007: 46, about average on stricter recalibrated scale

2006: 54, about average

2005: 73, about average

We have two additional statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds," to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop.

These stats:

2007: 67, 2

2006: 53, < 1

2005: 48, 2

We'll have further updates in February and May. The more owners participate, the more precise these will be.

Our reliability stats for the Five Hundred now include owner experiences through March 31, 2015. (Others are nearly a year behind.)

In terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year ("low" is best):

2007 Five Hundred: 48, low
2006 Five Hundred: 66, moderate
2005 Five Hundred: 70, low

Plus, the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop:

2007 Five Hundred: 59, < 1
2006 Five Hundred: 62, 4
2005 Five Hundred: 61, 11

Additional participants always good to have. Next updates in late August and November.
