Yes. If you are proficient with tools, it should only take a couple of hours and you don't need need to lift up the front unless you want some extra room to work.

Here is a link to instructions:
http://www.egclassic.com/inventory/uplo ... UT_SHO.pdf

I did the PI version which is part Ford part DG1Z-8200-AA. My dealer stocks them and are $164 before tax.

I swapped my Limited grille to a SHO grille. It was a hard call between the cheaper PI grille and the much more expensive SHO grille. I went with the SHO grille due to the chrome and how well it blends together with the rest of the car

I like the smaller honeycomb of the SHO grille too, but I didn't like the chrome with my white. The chrome looks great with the red though.

My only complaint with the PI grill is that you can see the radiator mounts, sensors, and wiring when looking straight on. The smaller honeycomb of the SHO grill does a better job hiding the innards.

The prices we have listed are parts only. Your 567 price sounds quite high. That might be with installation.

Thank you!!

$567 for the grille or grille+install? Either way, $567 sounds WAY high. I provided the part number above. Use it and search around.

The Ford dealer I bought the car from matched Tasca's price on the grill and installed it for free. Took them about an hour in their body shop.

Yea, if I had white, I would have totally gone with a PI grille also.

I sold Ford cars for two years in Maryland. I purchased aka sold myself a 2014 Taurus SEL and that was the very first mod i did to my car was a grille swap. It makes people turn heads when i drive by because it makes your ride look that much more bad a$# lol

I was partial to the P.I. Grille on my SEL mainly because of cost. My P.I. grille swap was a very small shade north of $200 and that includes the Dealer installation.

Whatever grille you go with if you decide on dealer install ask the body shop not service. Service will charge you service labor rates (figure $100/HR) and Mitchell manual calls 1.8 hours. Service will charge their rates but farm it out to body shop for actual work. I will use my dealer as an example.

Service $100/hr. x 1.8 hours is $180

Body shop $44/hr. X1.8 hours $79.20

If technically proficient and have some time you can do it yourself. If you don't have access to garage I would hold off until warmer weather. The cold weather can cause attaching clips to snap off during removal. My dealer had it just short of the 1.8 hours like maybe 1.5 or 1.6. They will charge for the 1.8 but the savings over the service department labor rate is still worth it.

It's one of the best upgrades going.. The blacked out grille is a must.. Personally, I preferred the price of the PI grill, but the cosmetics of the SHO, so the SHO is was..

Ok so I am trying to black my 2015 Taurus out and I can find grill inserts but not the complete grille with the surround. Also looking for black side vents and the streamer across the trunk? Any one have suggestions on how to find these?

I agree the SHO and interceptor grilles look way better than lower trim grilles. I’m not having luck finding them either. I would say check with your dealer but that will be pricey. Talk to your body shop/collision center not the service Dept. They often can source aftermarket/CAPA for better prices and their labor will be way less.

So my uncle manages a body shop and can probably get the sho grille cheaper than the Ford dealership but I need a VIN number from one to get the price. Anyone care to share? I have a 15’ SEL that I’m looking to get an sho grille for.
