Post by Christophe » Fri May 19, 2017 12:03 pm

Hello, I have a 2000 TAURUS (Duratec) and I change the steering heads / steering links. Could you give me the angles for parallelism? I can not find anything on this subject. thank you friends .
I am in France and I hope to continue to drive long with my FORD

I've never heard of anyone using the terms steering heads or parallelism but I'm gathering that you changed steering components and need to align the suspension. I do not know of any sources for that information, typically here alignments are done by mechanics with specialized laser equipment.

Yes I modify the front gear and I am looking for the original manufacturer settings for the tires. In France nobody knows these settings. Without that, I risk using the tires quickly. Excuse me for technical terms, I go through a translator. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. :)

I don't know where you'd get that info...? Would a shop with an alignment rack be able to find the specs for your car if you take it in?
