2009 taurus shifting problems

Post by ffmike1907 » Mon May 29, 2017 5:36 pm

daughter was driving my Taurus and it suddenly went into neutral. she said that she pressed on the gas and it felt like the car was in neutral with (3) dash instruments lights on: wrench+low gas+tire pressure
I went up to Autozone and had them look for OBD codes but it did not find any. throttle body needs cleaning ??? looking for suggestions.....

Welcome. Check the transmission fluid level and condition, that's the first step. Then, I would try to read the codes using a different code reader, possibly a more advanced scan tool. The low gas and tire pressure warnings shouldn't be related.
