Mom has a Forte, really happy with it.

The old Ford/kia Aspire / Festiva were great litte cars , tough a nails and cost nothing to run and rarely broke down.
I always stand behind my work!

I would never stand in front of it!

Kias are OK. Hyundais are even better though. Same parent company.

Every automaker has recalls, it's a fact of life I guess you could say.
2000 Ford Taurus SEL (excellent car, sold to a friend)
1992 Mercury Sable GS (good car except for the tranny, sold)
Current: 03 F150 King Ranch SuperCrew
Other Fords owned: 02 F150 SuperCrew 4x4, 11 F150 EcoBoost, 07 Ranger, 01 F150 XLT, 98 F150 XLT, 96 Thunderbird LX, 95 Escort GT, 86 Mustang LX, 82 Mustang

And to the point I made earlier:

"I'd rather buy a foreign car that's made in America than an American car that's made in Mexico."

The price for Kia forte is very reasonable compare to 2011 Chevy Cruze (Gm-Daewoo).
If I have additional $2500, I will buy Mazda3 or Lancer.
Why Kia forte could not have 6 sp just like 2011 Kia Sportage?
05 Red Fire SE with 6 speed.
Own since 2/12/06. over 97500 miles. CA-AZ FORD 500.
2014 Passat 1.8t ( most terrible new car: oil leaking from transmission around 30000 miles)

Past: 06 Mazda 6s 215hp (Ford Product),04 mazda6i, 97 Camry, 94 Accord, 86 Pontiac 6000 LE.
