You know, there's probably quite a few people that would appreciate that. I drive both an F-150 and a Taurus and I have to stop for a second to remember which side the fuel door is on when I'm in the Taurus. The truck is on the left and the car is on the right.... I'm getting used to it now :)...

Hmmm, that is kind of weird. I would have thought the CVT would be standard on the SEL or Limited.... maybe it's because the CVT is new and they don't want too many of them out in case they break :D

Yup, it's the Aisin AW six-speed automatic. Well I got the info direct from Ford media, so it must be correct 8)

Added More News Articles & MPG Fuel Economy Ratings

I added a few more articles in the NEWS section. I also added fuel economy ratings in the SPECIFICATIONS area. As well, I changed the ads on the site. They're now on the top under the navigation. Let me know if you have any thoughts on that. The ads support the site so be sure to click on an ad if i...

I haven't seen any reviews. They should be coming within the next month or so. I haven't heard about the mileage yet either. That usually doesn't come until very close to the date that the vehicle hits the showroom floor.

The Freestar is a van.... do you mean Montego (the Mercury twin to the Five Hundred)? If that's the case, then yes, I'll add info relevant to that car too.

Yes, the lower models won't have woodgrain, they'll have carbon-fiber. If that's my choice, I'd take the wood over the tacky carbon-fiber any day. :) Quote from the specifications overview page: The interior styling builds on the same theme, with inviting materials and surface treatments – from smoo...

Two new forums

I'm pleased to announce that I've added 2 new forums. They are: Everything Else - This is a place to talk about an aspect of the car that isn't included in the other forums (e.g. When will this car be at my local dealership?, etc.) General Topics - This is a catch-all forum. It's for everything not ...

What vehicles do you own?

I'll start.

I currently have a 2000 Ford Taurus SEL & a 1998 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4.

Previously I have owned a 1992 Mercury Sable, 1986 Ford Mustang LX, 1976 Dodge Ram, 1982 Ford Mustang L, and a 1982 Pontiac 2000.

How about you?

New models usually start showing up on dealers lots in September. Around here, anyway. You might want to contact your local dealer, if you are a potential customer, I'm sure they'll let you know when you can start ordering. You might even be able to order one in the summer.....
