Do you like the round clock in the middle of the dash?

Hey jutt. This info is direct from Ford: https://www.fordtaurus.net/specs/2005_m ... arison.php

Now we have conflicting information. We'll have to check these cars out when they hit the dealer's lots and see what's up.

Good news. I occasionally check out BON to see what's up.

Hi Kaje, welcome to the site!

Stick around, there's some good, knowledgeable folks on here. I can't wait to hear all about your car and see the pictures when you get it. I'm sure there are more than a few anxious future Five Hundred owners waiting for their cars to arrive.

New "Reviews" forum

I added a "Reviews" forum so we can keep all the Five Hundred & Montego reviews in one spot.

When you get a chance to test drive one or if you receive your new car, be sure to tell us all about it there:

I didn't say anything about Ford. Hey, if I start hearing about new Ford "Cobra Jet" engines, I'm going to puke LOL My biggest hang-up is that DC is beating "Hemi" to death. It used to really mean something, now it's a shame they're diluting it. IMHO Hemi doesn't mean anything anymore. And I even wo...

RoBi, welcome. That's possible, but I have a feeling Ford is going to stick to smaller cars as potential Hybrids, such as the Focus. It seems that the "foreign" auto manufacturers are putting in far more effort into hybrid / new technologies than "domestic" manufacturers. Ford, GM, etc., all seem to...

Chrylser / Dodge

Is it just me or is DaimlerChrysler resurrecting every possible nameplate that meant anything to them (Chrysler) before? Is this just a marketing thing? Trying to get baby boomers to recall Dodge's better days and get them buying new Dodges? Hemi. 300. Magnum (which used to be an engine just a few y...

Up here, SUV's and trucks are still king. The wagon will probably catch on again, but I don't see many wagons/Magnums around anymore.

AWD Option: $2,750 option in Canada, why?

Wow, I just went to price out a Five Hundred @ ford.ca and the AWD option is $2,750. In the US, the option is just $1,700. Why such a price difference? Even with the currency exchange rate, it doesn't come out that high. My guess is that Ford thinks they can charge more since more people will see AW...

LOTS of cars have solar tint glass. It's a very light green in color and you really can't notice it. It's not "privacy" tint as it's generally called. That's the darker stuff like on trucks, suv's, etc.
