Just to clarify the hose I put on the existing drain tube was a 90 degree elbow so this allows the water to drain straight down and not back to the firewall.

My 2005 had the same problem I located the source, and found it was coming from the ac evaporator core/heatercore box which is directly behind the radio and heater controls.
