I know there were different variations. I need the diving board with fogs version and am having a hard time finding a part number.

These terminals tend to stretch over time. Maybe a function of heat, or poor design. Nevertheless, this is a common issue on more import vehicles I have owned. Try a 1/4" drive, 1/2" flex-socket and extension to remove the EGR valve. Some 1/2" distributor wrenches will work too. Scrape the gasket surface clean then pick up a new EGR gasket and smear it with a light application of ultra-copper high temp silicone just before reassembly.
