To be honest i could have left it amber, but where is the fun in that? I like the white light because in thinking safety people will see it and i am hopefully less likely to be Tboned and i will.
I'd think amber would be a lot more visible for anti-t-bone purposes...

Hahaha, I guess so! No red for me lol, I’ll stick with my tactical dark grey 😂
I wasn't really looking for a red one, but this was just too unique to pass up.

I think I’ve seen this red Taurus on one of the Facebook groups lol. Can’t say which one because a few people have it.
I guess my car is famous now!

Re: FPIS Speedometer Instrument Gauge Cluster Swap

By the way, I love the color of your car, super rare. Really wish I could have got that color. Mines pretty scarce too, it’s Minnesota State Patrol Red. If you’re near the Chicago area let me know I can try to help out haha. I'm sorry, what was that you were saying about rare colors? :D pis3.jpg

Re: Fender LED module for Taurus

It would be easier and hell of a lot nicer. But, those lights are not cheap at all. I spent less than 20 bucks for this whole project. The lights were like 14.bucks and the resin my wife had already. i dont want actual flashing lights these only flash orange when you use the signal and stay on whit...

Going the other direction here - Has anyone retrofitted a civilian Taurus with the PIS console/steering column, dash bits? I'm a volunteer fire/EMS officer and have a 2013 SEL with nowhere to put any equipment.
Might be easier to use a portable radio and a hand-held siren/lights controller.

I bought my 2015 TAURUS Interceptor brand new and it did NOT come with a trunk or under hood insulater
My 2017 (which was brand new for all purposes) also didn't have either one.

Re: 2015 FPIS: Trunk button not working & Fuel gauge not correct

Unfortunately the button is already plugged in. Already tried that when I added my aux audio input. Is it possible that they could have cut the wiring harness somewhere down the line? If so, I guess I won't bother trying to locate and fix it. I'll just live with that button not working. On mine the...

I think it depends on the civilian version, too. They seem to have different ride heights depending on wheels, suspension etc.

On my PI the driver side bulb just went out, i'd like to swap both bulbs (pass and driver bulbs), if its possible. however i can take it to my local shop if its a bit more complex than the video above shows.
Takes about a minute per side.

Re: Needs new transmission at 59,000 miles

I ended up contacting the dealership I bought my car from back in South Carolina and they actually contacted thier zone rep and thier guy reached out to my dealer here in AZ. The entire bill came to almost $2600 and out of that I paid $960 out of my pocket. Ford went ahead and pulled through for me...

They are both very reputable in the Phoenix area. I dropped it off at the dealer on Thursday night. They just got back to me today saying that my PTO is shot. I asked if it did any damage to the trans and they said they'd have to dig further into it. As of now, they are NOT going to cover it under ...

Re: Needs new transmission at 59,000 miles

Two questions:

1. How reputable are both of these shops?
2. Has a dealer actually looked at the car?
