How To Install A Ford 500 Billet Grille

Tools Required

• Philips Screwdriver
• Slotted Screwdriver
• 5/16" Wrench

Parts List

• 1 - Billet Insert (13 Bars)
• 4 - 6-32 x 1.5" Machine Screws
• 4 - 6-32 Nylock Nuts
• 4 - #6 Flat Washers
• 4 - 2" Flange Brackets

Read and understand all instructions before starting installation

Procedures

Open the hood and remove the black plastic top cover. The grille shell may be removed from vehicle for easier installation of billet but is not required. Center the billet over the factory grille. At this time the factory grille mesh may be painted black.

Set the billet over the factory grille opening. The mounting tabs will sit over the grille mesh. Insert the long machine screws (from the front) through the tabs welded to the insert. From the back place a flange bracket, washer and hand thread a Nylock nut.

Use the Phillips screwdriver and 5/16” wrench to tighten the hardware. Do not over-tighten; Tighten the insert so it fits snug and even across the shell. Re-install the grille shell assembly back onto the vehicle if needed.
