DEARBORN, Mich., Aug. 10, 2004-Lincoln Mercury today announced prices for the 2005 Mercury Mariner and 2005 Mercury Montego, two all-new products that demonstrate how the brand is entering new segments while offering premium features and distinctive styling in packages that emphasize value.

"The Mariner and Montego are game-changers for Mercury," said Darryl Hazel, Lincoln Mercury president. "For the first time in decades, Mercury is entering two new areas of the market at the same time. These vehicles play an important role in Lincoln Mercury's broad-based product renaissance that will give consumers and dealers 11 new products in six new segments over four years."

In addition to competitive pricing, the Montego and Mariner combine a wide array of standard equipment with streamlined option packages that enhance the vehicles' overall value. "Mercury's strongpoint is offering a good range of premium features at a reasonable price," said Hazel. "These vehicles carry on that tradition, and we expect customers will be pleased with how much they get for their money," Hazel added.

2005 Montego

The 2005 Montego features a starting manufacturers suggested retail price (MSRP) of $24,995, including destination and delivery fees, for front-wheel drive versions.
