Option ?? For 2010 SEL

HI All


Just ordered a new 2010 Taurus SEL with the technology package.(Canada) rapid spec 202B in the U.S . Can anyone tell me if they have this package with the rear view camera in their rear view mirror?
I have yet to see one , the salesman said it is a Q2 production date .(early models wont have it)
The reason I am asking is, there is some conflicting info if it is even available.
Ford's web site says yes their brochure doesn't mention it .

Not a big deal just curious.

I have a loaded Limited. It has everything but....rear view camera (I'm not missing much though)

We test drove a Fusion before buying the Taurus, and IT had the camera in the mirror. We were told by the salesman that the Taurus woul dhave the same thing. Not.

If your car comes with the navigation package, and if it comes with the rear view camera, it will show up on the nav screen (or so we were told).

The 202B package does show it comes with the r.v. camera though. Let us know if it's on there when your car comes in.

There is a SHO on the dealers lot w/ a camera. I can stop by there and see if its on the nav screen or mirror.

If you ordered the 202B then yes, you will have the rear view camera. If you do not have Nav, then the mirror will show the camera.

I just check the window sticker for my LTD, I have the 303A pkg. No camera listed.

The back-up camera is included in Job 2 production(hence the B suffix). My wife and I ordered a Limited with the 303B package in mid Nov. 09, and it indeed does have the camera included. Our car was built Dec 23 and arrived at dealer Dec 31. We did not get Nav, so the camera image appears in left part of rearview mirror. Awesome car by the way. Iam very impressed with Ford's flagship vehicle, a superb car all around! Have your dealer print out the revised package contents. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the great info. I have seen a Taurus SEL on e-bay with the camera in the rear view mirror. The ford emblem on the trunk is actualy raised a bit like the ones on the F-150 that's where the camera lens is.
