Ordered my 2010 SEL today!

Well, my company finally came through and sent me an order form last night to make my 2010 company car choice and I quickly ordered my Taurus SEL this morning. I thought about changing from black/light stone to white/light stone but ended up going with the black color AGAIN (third car in a row). While on the road this afternoon I stopped by my local Ford dealer and they had an SEL (white/light stone) in their showroom with no optional features and it looked really nice and seemed very comfortable in the very short time I sat in it, but I'm still going with black...very classy IMHO.

Thanks, I'm counting on it...while I have liked my 2007 Five Hunred for the most part I believe (after the very short time I sat in and looked over the 2010 yesterday) that I will like the 2010 Taurus MUCH more. Have any others on this forum gone from a 500 to a new Taurus, and do you like it very much more? Thanks

Black is too Mafia for my tastes. Heat magnet color and paint swirl scratching put me off too.

By the way, the preferred car color of the rich and famous has always been white, or the off-white palette. Silver has been making inroads though.

Rolls Royce sure has a lot of colors that aren't white, off white, or silver (including black). For the 'regular rich', BMW 650 is available in 6 different blacks, but only one white and two silvers. Cadillac XLR has two blacks, one silver, and no white at all.
