De-badge a 2010 SHO?

Has anyone given any thought to debadgeing a 2010 SHO. It looks like it wouldn’t be to hard replacing the grill with after market part along with a few other things, until you get to the trunk. I’m not sure how to get around the blue oval on the trunk unless there is an aftermarket part for that too. Any ideas that would look good and not cost a fortune?

I didn't know Ford had forecasted to have a 2101 SHO. Thats great though. If I were going to be alive in 2101, I'd buy one.

All kidding aside, I'm planning on debadging everything on the back of my 2010 SHO except the Ford oval and the chrome strip. I will black out the chrome and chrome oval surround.

IIRC the Ford oval has alignment holes, so if you really want to go that far, you better lay some cash out to a body shop to fill that in as well as the indents for the trim.

IT guy, I noticed your avatar pic, your trunk seems to be way out of alignment. Have you had that looked at?

I hope my 2010 SHO isnt like that when it gets here.

Actually, I thought the same thing, but it turned out to be the camera angle. The alignment is right on.
BTW, good luck with your SHO. You've got to be excited.

Ah. cool. I have seen several 2010s with bad panel alignment.

Hopefully job 2 cars wont be like that.

Yes, thanks for the wishes. It cant arrive fast enough.

The five hundred sold faster than expected, SHO wont be here till Jan 15th or so.

Just removed the "Taurus" and "SEL" emblems yesterday! Hair dryer to remove them and used a dab of "Goo off" on a cotton ball after removing and voila.
