Hi I have a 2002 Taurus and the outside lights under the mirror come on for a really long time after I get out of the car.. I was wondering if that drains the battery (I came out and it was dead this morning) and if so how do I disable them? Any advice would be apprreciated.. Thanks

Just like the flashing time light on your old VCR, just cover them up with a piece of black electrical tape!! :P

These lights are on a timer. Sounds like the relay that controls them may be sticking....keeping them on longer than needed.
