Hello all, First post on this site as I have just purchased a used 04 taurus. I have noticed a good shimmy in the car when applying the brakes. I already searched the forums and found the minimum thickness for the rotors(24.75 mm minimum thickness), but not too familiar with the maintenance involved removing them. Have removed them from my other car and was only 2 screws to pop them off and back on, hope its that easy with this one.

Was looking to see if anyone knew where I could get a copy of a maintenance manual for the vehicle, or at least specifically for the front brakes and rotors.

Thank you all for the help! :)

BTW it is an LX if that means anything to this post.

Do not cut, but replace the rotors.
