From KJ: Car Trim Level:2005 Ford Five Hundred Limted Modifications:We had a billet grille installed by the dealership prior to taking delivery of the car on December 31st, 2004, as we wanted to have this brand-new Ford model at the absolute start of 2005. The car is basically stock otherwise, with the exception of tinted glass, Redline stainless, gas-charged hood struts (removed stock hood prop rod), a voice-command/audio (no screen)navigation system and LoJack. We also had vanity plates made for our Five Hundred, that read: "Y2K5500" ("two-thousand-five, five-hundred"). Planned Modifications:I go back and forth over the idea of having one of the subtle decklid spoilers (not a wing, just the tasteful spoiler that I've seen on some cars) installed, and I would like to lower the car just a bit, if an AWD-compliant lowering system is ever developed. Of course, the car could use just a little more "ooomph," so a K&N or other cold-air induction system may be added in the future. Other Fords Owned:We also own a 2002 Mustang GT w/ProCharger P-1SC supercharger (383 RWHP/375 lb-ft RWTQ...wife's daily driven car), a 1995 F-350 crew cab Power Stroke dually w/BD exhaust brake and TorqLoc, a 1990 Mustang LX, a 1986 Mustang T-top coupe, and a 1973 factory V8-powered Maverick Other Comments:Thanks for the opportunity to spotlight our Five Hundred! We love the car and plan on keeping it in the family long after the final payment has been made. |
