Coil pack or spark plug?
A chain repair store said that #3 on my '92 Sable DOHC was bad and that I needed a new plug, wires and coil pack. While I'd like to dive in and do it, is there a way to check if it's just a bad plug vs. the coil pack? just curious. BTW, engine light is on and the diagnostics said #3 bad at startup and when at temperature....

DRL w/HID finally a reality
The latest version of IDS software (85.02) allows Taurus models to enable DRL with either low beam (was available before for non HID) or turn signal bulbs( Halogen or HID). Inside cleaning and Touchup paint
Just got my new 13 in April and I was nice and let the kids get in it. A few scuff marks on the rear seat nothing major but what would anyone suggest I clean them with?Also does anyone use any of the "armor all" like products to clean the dash etc? I bought a drill bit the exact size of the mic and drilled a hole where the Analog clock would be if I had one and epoxied it flush with that piece of trim... Busy Day today
It was busy day.. Replaced the fuel pump assembly and fuel filter, I thought it was gonna be hard but came out pretty good. Took me two hours (I'm not mechanic) shop quoted me $200 for labor and another $300 for parts. I'm glad I did it myself save me a lot of $$....
